2021 Call for Nominations

2021 is an election year for the USATF Adirondack Association. In odd-numbered years the electable positions shall include: Vice-President, Secretary, Youth Committee Chair and the At-Large Representative for Adult Clubs. 

Online nominations will begin July 12, 2021. The online nomination process shall end at 11:59:59 pm (EDT) on August 12, 2021. In order to be nominated, a candidate needs one (1) nominator and one (1) seconder, both of whom must be adult members of USATF Adirondack. A candidate for any USATF Adirondack elected position must be a member of USATF Adirondack who is at least eighteen years of age at the start of the term of office on September 12, 2021. The USATF Adirondack Association Board of Directors will accept nominations via email only from the eligible general membership for the following positions:
 
 
Election - Officers/Executive Committee:

The Board has approved a slate of nominees that includes all incumbents. Additional nominees are welcome – see below for nominations procedures. The elections will be held online from Aug. 12 to Sept. 11.
To nominate someone:
 

1. The nominator must send an email listing the name of the nominee and the position to: office@adirondack.usatf.org

 

2. The seconder must send an email listing the name of the nominee and the position to: office@adirondack.usatf.org

 
 
Please include your name with your email. Remember that nominators and seconders must be current members of the USATF Adirondack Association at least 18 years old. Self-nominations are acceptable but must have a different seconder.
 
All nominees will be contacted and must send an email of acceptance listing their name and the electable position to: office@adirondack.usatf.org
Nominees may include a photo and short bio for the ballot.
 
Election ballots will be sent via email after the nomination deadline, on August 12^th.
Results will be announced at the USATF Adirondack Association’s Annual Meeting in September. Annual meeting will be on Sunday, September 12 at 1:00 p.m. at a location to be announced.
 
 
All elected positions shall serve for a term of two (2) years following their election.
