Officials Zoom call to cover rules review for recertification

The USATF Adirondack Association Board of Directors is working with our Officials’ Committee and their Chairman Steve George to increase the total number of USATF-certified officials for the new Olympiad. We always have a need for, and welcome individuals to become new USATF-certified officials. If interested, please contact USATF Adirondack Association Officials Committee Chairman Steve George via email.

USATF officials are certified for four years at the start of each new Olympiad – in this case Jan. 1, 2021. The certification/re-certification process has begun. Complete information is found on the USATF national website.

One of the main USATF-certified Officials’ requirements for new certifications and re-certifications for the new Olympiad (2021-2024) is completion of the General Rules Review (75 questions).

The USATF Adirondack Association will be hosting an online Zoom session on Sunday, November 22 at noon to review and answer all 75 questions.

A copy of the Basic Rules Review is available here.
A copy of the 2020 USATF Competition Rule Book is posted here.
We will also discuss the 15 situation ruling questions needed to become certified on the National and Master levels if time permits.

All are welcome.
